Ko Samui
"The Island Sucker" is definitely the place more attractive tourist resort of the South China Sea. On a total extension of approximately 250 sq km (roughly the size of the island of Elba), the beaches and seaside resorts most frequented are concentrated on the east side and are known as Haat Chaweng and Lamai Haat. The first, especially in the last decade has seen a rather important development of facilities and vast size, although a fair and accurate local law prohibits construction on the island of more than 12 meters in height. In the popular imagination this law has been taken with a significance particularly impressive, so much so that they love to say that "in Samui buildings may not exceed the height of coconut trees." Satun

It is not easy to reach Ko Adang and Ko Rawi, the absolute latest and most inaccessible borders the Andaman Sea, but anyone who can get this far extreme and remote, difficult to be convinced that sooner or later must return. This is the place par excellence of dreams, that enchanted place that exists only in the most difficult and most fanciful imagination. As in the case of Ko and Ko Kradan Karoke, we do not feel quite capable of these islands to describe in words and once again we will talk about the pictures. Given the enormous distance from the coast and sea conditions, these islands are accessible only by speed boat or with large boats that organize regular links. At Ko Adang are primitive and not places where you can stay comfortable in conditions that still would not recommend to travelers who are not equipped with large capacity for adaptation. The slow connections regularly employ more than 5 hours sailing to reach Ko Adang, and is therefore inconceivable a round-trip day with this means of transport. The deep-sea speedboats are operating costs are very high. The logistical challenges in reaching Ko Adang and the neighboring islands was so far the issue that has kept tourists away from this beauty and wonder of nature. We are sure that the environment that all future visitors will have to Ko Adang and Ko Rawi will be the key essential to preserve these unique places of its kind in the idyllic state exactly where they are now. Trang
With Trang Province can be considered to begin the discovery of a series of wonderful places that extends to more remote areas of Thailand and southern areas, up to now completely hidden from mass tourism. And this is precisely the secret by which some dream islands here have been able to keep up to date their soul and their exotic landscapes, enchanted, far away from the building exploitation, tourism and all kinds of speculation. The Easy Smile intends to fight and rule in favor of the highest respect and most complete conservation of these places, which in turn only recommend to anyone who is only able to appreciate fully until the very primitive conditions in which they are located. Note From now on will be assumed that the islands and beaches are places that will introduce low or no tourist facilities, ideal for ecotourism and each visit will have to abide by any conditions of relative or absolute instability, ie excluding the ability to guarantee those classic standards of comfort rather easily obtainable elsewhere. Ko Kradan 
And 'the beach par excellence of Trang and the most exotic place and photographed his Province. Ko Muk (Tham Morakot) 
Apparently, this large island stationed halfway along the navigation between the coast and Ko Kradan, does not have anything good to offer. Is in fact an important particularly hostile and rugged, consisting of vertical rock walls that plunge into the water without ever leaving a minimum breath to any bay or inlet. Must know it thoroughly to know that Ko Muk ("Island of Pearls") has a unique and unrepeatable in her womb extravagance of nature. This truly unique in its kind in the world is called "Tham Morakot," which in Thai means "Emerald Cave". Sailing around the island at some point you will notice some boats that allocate an area in front of well-defined and apparently nothing but a rock wall. Ko Libong 
And 'the largest of the islands of Trang and is the subject of scientific studies and research as Ko Libong is an important transit point for the seasonal migrations of several species of birds. Another animal most likely to be spotted is the dugong, the cute aquatic mammal from the dolphin-like body but with the "mouth of pork", which burns easily mouth with various shrubs and plant forms found in great abundance in the depths of Ko Libong. The dugong is a mammal considered endangered and the island of Libong is perhaps the best spots for sighting in the Andaman Sea. The fishermen have been handed down tales of sightings on the banks of the nice beaches of Libong where it seems that the dugong not lie on his back during the days of sunshine .... A suntan! In reality it is difficult to determine whether this could really happen, or if these stories are just a figment of the imagination of the local people who love to worship the dugong. And 'calculated that at present they are in the waters of Ko Libong about 60 specimens. In the stretch of land in front of Libong extends an impressive landscape with the typically high rocks that are thrown into the sea, very often in the shape of the Andaman Sea. Within these high cliffs extend deep and dark caves that can be reached by boat.
Trang Town 
And 'one of the most populated and economically important in southern Thailand. In the city center there are 3 high-class hotels and comfortable and stylish enough to accommodate travelers also quite demanding. Behind a feared modernity, Trang hides a soul made of the traditional annual folk festivals, local celebrations, traditional and delicious recipes. It is located about 40 km from the north side and 60 on the south side of the coast (see below) and these are the minimum distances to go to head of the only existing high-level hotels in the area to the beaches. The Trang Province is also very important for the beauty of the interior. An important characteristic of the rather rugged mountainous spine that runs from north to south along the peninsula of Malacca to the west skirting the city of Trang, which is spread almost at the foot of the mountains. To admire here are a beautiful series of waterfalls, some of which are of high value and beauty.
Various Waterfalls 
They are very numerous and extend in rapid succession along the western side of the long mountain range. They are all within the same day and provide a good opportunity to spend an alternative experience to the sea. The first waterfall you meet no more than 20 km from the city. Waterfalls are the Ka Chong, characterized by an impressive cast down by a very considerable height. Which descend from the rock wall is oblique, dampening the violence in part of the waterfall, but adding a unique charm. They are located within the homonymous National Park, with a dense tropical forest and striking. Continuing south you soon reach the Sai Rung Waterfalls. Rung means rainbow in Thai and in fact, a colorful rainbow in the sky of the falls stands out, especially in the afternoon. Further on are the waterfalls Praisawan. More than a real waterfall, Praisawan are characterized by a series of rapids on which it is practicable rafting! Beyond the Praisawan go into the highest part of the mountain range. And 'here that houses the most beautiful waterfall in the series, The Waterfalls Ton Te, characterized by a very considerable height. Down from a wall of rock that stands high in the sky, much to be admired from a considerable distance. The Ton Te, a point from which you will fall in Trang, there are more than 80 km from the city.
Ko Petra 
Although not accessible to visitors for safety reasons, also include Ko Petra as one of the Andaman Islands, where the collection of birds' nests, which are much appreciated in many Asian cuisines, assumes the proportions of the most important. In our opinion, however, would rather see Krabi simplistic as just a place to vacation and rest. By this we mean that the beauty of Krabi is not restricted only to the beaches and whoever wants to move out of the ordinary and frequented by mass tourism will be to discover an entire region from the majestic and incomparable natural beauty, both on the sea as inward! You are strongly advised to check the descriptions of the locations that are within this Province to understand why Krabi is ideally suited for tourism, traveling and discovery.
Phi Phi Islands
This archipelago, which can certainly be regarded as the most natural and immediate identification of the image of exotic beaches in the belief of Thai tourists from all over the world. It 'consists mainly of two large islands, Phi Phi Don, respectively, with significant long-equipped infrastructure for tourist accommodation and the smaller Phi Phi Le and inhospitable, the fact that they are not at hotels. Phi Phi Le is still the preferred destination for those wanting to experience the beautiful natural landscape and marine environment of these places as well as for diving activities. Phi Phi Don has an original and characteristic H-shape in which the middle and connecting the two outer flaps is nothing but a lovely stretch of fine sand that runs between two extremes, and from the sharp mountainous relief. This strip of sand, because of its rare beauty has unfortunately been the subject of a speculative boom that has transformed the building and the ancient and primitive fishing village here in existence for a time in a tourist resort with some hotels that rise in cement and More plans and various other structures that have in place the naturalization. In general, this central area of Phi Phi is now characterized by neglect and failure to comply with environmental resources. Dozens of large ships large enough to carry each one hundreds of visitors passing through, with their powerful internal combustion engines burst of disturbing the peace and foremost leaving large patches of oil on the south side of the beach called Thong Sai. On The Lam From the other hand, which is the opposite side of the beach and facing north, fortunately, things are a little 'better. More and important problem that is encountered in these two main beaches of Phi Phi during the high season (roughly between December and April) is the overcrowding caused by the excessive number of boats moored here overloaded with visitors in search of an exotic corner now difficult to reach. But in Phi Phi we must not surrender before the first potential disappointment! This place is truly a tropical paradise and discover the much-flaunted in all its beauty will be enough to leave behind the two beaches crowded and polluted in part. Let a small long-tail lead you along the coast. Just outside the bay, you'll see a beautiful underwater landscape made of coral and tropical fish. This landscape will be under your feet because small boats along their routes to the coast, will sail the sea surface and crystal clear that we are projecting this underwater paradise. Lift up your eyes now to see the island. It will appear as a compact bush green and consists of a dense tropical vegetation on which will be against the blinding white beaches. Rarely on the shore you can see some tiny villages set among palm trees and consist of rudimentary wooden bungalows. You will need about twenty minutes by boat to reach the northern tip of the island. A thin white beach called Laem Thong Beach, will welcome you in paradise! You have arrived at their destination. On this beach you will not find it anything but quiet, calm sea and smoothly throughout the year, a bungalow of wood under the palm trees and a small restaurant with tables on the sand in which to enjoy a good fish to entertain the BBQ evenings. At Laem Thong there is absolutely nothing else .... "
Ao Nang Beach
That is considered the Ao Nang beach in Krabi par excellence. Here is concentrated almost all of the accommodation facilities which are grouped together in the small patch of coastline that is included here. And unfortunately this is the sore point of a place that has experienced a development is not commensurate with their abilities and potential, so that today, following the wave of success of past years, new structures arise continuously and piling in the second and third in a row now building parallel to the sea. On a stretch of coast about 1 km long are several dozen buildings hotels that have already arisen or are arising. The site is gradually losing its exotic appearance, and now the coconut trees that lined the avenue of the waterfront are no longer sufficient to maintain the aspect of naturalness and simplicity that were inseparable and main characteristics of Ao Nang. Railaey Beach
It is located on land in an area adjacent to Ao Nang. But because of insurmountable cliffs that separate the two bays, there is no way able to link the two places by land, so that although he is not one, Raylaey assumes the characteristics of an island! The rocks separate into four distinct areas Raylaey which appear as the 4 sides of a rectangle formation. one of the two courts is close to the mountains while the other three are lapped by the sea. The two sides represent the longest stretches of beach for swimming as less appropriate, because of persistent low tides, the seabed is muddy and often dry. They are both rich in mangroves and still worth a visit to enjoy the beauty of these special plants capable of taking root in salt water. The second short side of the rectangle instead of a beauty and charm of a well marked to be worth a visit alone the place. Two huge rocks delineate the extension in length and has one of those ending inside the caves with huge stalactites coming down from above to create a particular optical effect which seems to reach and touch the surface of the sea. The cave is called Tham Pranang and this name is also used to define the particular stretch of beach on which it is located. This is also the ideal place to practice mountain climbing, well-known and important activities in Krabi. For the most talented and experienced climbers recommend to the summit of this rock as its center point, and there is a greater .... "Lagoon "!!!!! Today unfortunately suffers Pranang Bay Resort Rajawadee presence of invasiveness, a very luxurious accommodation consisting of wooden chalets with two floors and equipped with modern comforts and luxury. Formerly owned by the famous local chain of Dusit Hotels, the property was recently sold to a second administration because of the heavy economic and financial liabilities which the resort is suffering because of the disproportionate prices charged to customers. We are confident, however, that because of its construction, Tham Pranang has suffered far more than its owners ....
Ao Thalén (Canyon)
To reach the Canyon has to travel a long and winding road which, starting from Ao Nang secondary branches to the north in the countryside and nature. Before you even get to the Canyon has already intoxicated by the colorful and picturesque rural scenes and the glimpses of just admiring views of the sea peeps several times along the path, so that it becomes difficult to realize that the best is yet to come! Ao Leuk 
This extensive region is located about 60 km north of Krabi town in the direction of Phang Na and its proximity to the "bay of James Bond" in a sense can hope and let us imagine the natural environment we face. The same fact is repeated proposing landscape with picturesque canyons of sea water that penetrate deep into the costs significantly. The banks of these channels are full of mangroves, which in some places are so dense as to hinder the advance of small long tails. But unlike Phang Na, in the resort of Ao Leuk are also other exciting places to visit such as some sea caves that create real "holes" in the mountains and where the boats can creep through from side to side. Pay attention to the head, lower yourself carefully not to knock the stalactites! Ao Leuk is another ideal place for the practice of Canoeing. Nearby is also the headquarters of the National Park Than Boke Koran. To be precise, was located within another must-see natural landscape and nestled between two high rocks that emerge from the sea but not from the mainland. Koh Hong Archipelago
The term "Hong" in Thai means "room", so that Ko Hong is nothing but the "Island of the room." Such a name may be ambiguous and does not help to recall any exotic landscape or far. Arriving on board a long tail boat, Ko Hong is seen from far away like all the other islands typical for this geographical area that is like a mighty rock mass which flows to the sea, leaving little or no breathing at short hints of the beach which is interposed between the mountain peaks. Once landed the other hand it is easy to realize that the rocks of this island are different from the others, if only because it simply chasing the outer perimeter of the island itself but did not occupy the central part. A brief window of opportunity opens like a door then suddenly between the rock wall, appearing as the most HOPEFUL invitations to enter the heart of the island. We enter. Our small long-tail now leads us to immerse ourselves in a surreal landscape and divine. A huge lagoon (the room ...!) It occupies the entire center of the island. The water, the color turquoise, here has a constant depth and no more than two meters. Its transparency also creates a special visual effect for which it seems to be in a huge and mammoth natural pool. Only the mangroves with their appearance make us understand that what we are seeing is the sea, and as we entered the womb of the curious "room" to enjoy this heavenly view of itself. The spell is broken at times quiet and discreet dall'incombere some customers who lead small canoe paddle strokes inside the lagoon. They come from the only small beach located on the outside, where some local fishermen have marked a rudimentary and basic point of tourist assistance with rent canoes and offer the possibility of refreshment for those who decide to spend the whole day here. Ko Poda
And 'the largest and closest to the mainland by a group of 5 islands located in front of Ao Nang. The side facing the mainland is home to a beach of rare beauty, which is about 30 minutes on board nice and crackly long-tail boats. Snorkelling is an activity required to Ko Poda, in order to enjoy the stunning underwater beauty. The island is also a small resort in the group "Krabi Resort", with some rudimentary and basic bungalows with electricity (but not air conditioning). They are ideal for a short stay of total relaxation and isolation but do not offer quite the normal standards of comfort typical of accommodations of an international character. Krabi Town
To Huey Waterfalls
They are located in the hinterland of Krabi, about twenty miles inland. Characterized by a significant difference in several stages, and visual effect are certainly worth a visit definitely.
Wat Tham Seua 
The "cave of the tiger" is nothing but a Buddhist temple located on top of a lofty mountain, 15 km from Krabi town to the inside.
Sa Morakot
The "Emerald Pool" is located south of Krabi, Trang direction. To get there you must travel a long distance into the forest. This site consists of a series of freshwater pools where you can have a refreshing bath. They owe their name to the particular color that the water takes in contact with the mineral-rich rocks, creating a striking visual effect.
Ko karoke
The islands are just karoke several hours of sailing with long-tail boat from the coast and appear as a tiny dot visible only under conditions of clear skies and perfectly clear, but their beauty is proportional to the distance and the difficulty encountered trying to reach them. The two main islands are, respectively, and Ko Ko Nai karoke karoke Nok, the island that is "internal" and the island "outside". The most exotic and striking of all is Ko Nok Karoke, in which during the rainy season form torrents of rain water that create beautiful waterfalls before flowing into the sea. These islands are unique to the immense breadth and extent of white sandy beaches of fine white sand. The island of Lanta, in Krabi province (see) is perhaps the less distant from these islands and logistically best suited to reach Ko Adang m also from Ko Ngai or you can groped a crossing. Their great distance from the civilized world adds a particular charm that makes the fantasy fly to destinations further afield.
Ko Lanta 
It 'a group of two large islands very close to the mainland, about 80 km south of Krabi Town and in the direction of Trang. Regular ferry services link them with the coast, so as to be easily reached by means of land. In recent years, the southernmost island of the two has seen a remarkable development of tourism so much that it now ranks among the best known places in the south. The main beach (Khlong Dao Haat) is located in the north west of the island. Here you will find all major facilities, which still can not boast high levels of comfort and above all stood on the relationship quality / price disadvantageous. Ko Lanta is not a suitable place for a holiday with class and high level of comfort, we must also say that none of the beaches on the island can boast particularly attractive countryside and only recommend this place to anyone who is looking for alternative accommodation. It 'still important to point out that Ko Lanta is the best point from which to reach the incredible beauty of the island of Ko Karoke (see the province of Trang).
